The deadly eruption of the volcano Semeru. Storms Arwen and Barr. Shocking cataclysms statistics

12 December 2021

At the beginning of December 2021, a catastrophic eruption of the Semeru volcano began in Indonesia. The scale of the destruction was colossal. The red-hot emissions caught local residents unprepared and they left their homes in a hurry. As of December 11, 2021, 43 people had died, 13 were considered to have missed and more than 6,500 people had been evacuated.

For more information about what happened, as well as on the Cumbre Vieja volcano eruption and other climate disasters around the world, watch this broadcast.

On November 27, storm "Arwen" hit northern and central Spain. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. One-half of the country was covered with snow. On the other one, there were heavy rains that caused flooding in coastal regions.

And by the night of November 27, Storm Arwen had moved to the coast of Great Britain, where it also brought showers and snowfall. Unfortunately, people died there as well. Winds with speeds of over 150 km/h broke trees, overturned trucks, took shingles off houses, and destroyed buildings. On the east coast of Scotland and the northeast of England a "red" - the highest, storm warning was declared.

From November 26 to December 1, first Vietnam, and then Thailand, were affected by heavy rains, flooding and landslides. Regrettably, there were deaths, injuries, and missing people. More than 100,000 people were affected by the disaster.

On November 28, 2021, Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, received heavy rains. Unusually heavy rains continued throughout the following week, and on December 4, in Kitui County, a bus carrying passengers was swept by floodwaters into the Enziu River. Unfortunately, dozens of people died.

At the time when heavy rains poured down in one region, residents of the north suffered from a lack of rainfall for a second consecutive season.

On November 29, 2021, a hurricane struck the city of Istanbul in Turkey. There were fatalities, several people were injured. Winds with gusts up to 130 kilometers per hour overturned cars on roads and tore roofs off houses, and in the area of Çatalca overturned a clock tower.

And December began with several records:

Record snowfalls hit Denmark at the beginning of December. Snow cover of 70 cm was recorded in some places The snowfall was accompanied by hurricane-force winds of 70 km/h. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

On December 1-2, a powerful storm struck Sochi, Russian Federation. Huge waves up to nine meters high destroyed part of the waterfront washed away coastal cafes and flooded coastal hotels. There has been a storm of this magnitude here 10 years ago.

On December 5, a new daily cold record of -20.9°C was registered in St. Petersburg, Russia, beating the previous record set 128 years ago.

On December 6 in Naimakka, Sweden, thermometers dropped to -43.8°C. Such temperature is the lowest ever recorded in Sweden since 1945.

On the same day in the Upper Pyrenees, France, there was a registered record height of snow cover up to 175 centimeters, the highest in 25 years.

On December 7, storm Barra struck Ireland with wind gusts of up to 130 kilometers per hour.

Red weather warnings were issued in counties Cork, Kerry and Clare.

And after the storm, snow fell.

The number of victims of climate disasters is steadily rising. Authorities hide behind dry statistics and hide the truth about the cyclical nature of climate disasters.

When all people know the truth, we‘ll be able to change the situation very quickly and realize the full potential of humanity to build the Creative Society and save every person's life.

Only the creative format will give incredible opportunities for the favorable development of society and the planet as a whole.
