🆘 IRAN: A strong earthquake of 5.9 magnitude struck northwestern Iran. Infrastructure damage was recorded in 70 settlements, where 20 to 50 percent of all buildings were destroyed.
Several casualties are reported. More than 1,100 are also reportedly affected and the number continues to rise.
🔴 It is noted that this was the third strong earthquake in Iran over the past six months. Less than ten days have passed since the last seismic event. Many houses that were damaged in the previous earthquake collapsed this time. Local residents also said that the tremors were repeated up to 50 times.
