When we hear the word "tornado," we immediately think of America, the United States, Texas or wherever.
But here... The Netherlands, Europe, noon.
Eyewitness will tell you about his impressions and experience.
“And then a colleague on my right, he said, like, “Look, there is a tornado”. And I look just like ‘What?”
I was just shocked because I never saw a tornado really that close. And you saw it really small and then you later see it grow and grow and just it started more, the wind started to turn and started to cycle. And then I just realized that it's getting bigger and bigger. And then it started to move and you had really like this huge noise, like a motor like “woof”.
“There was no alarm going off. If the alarm went off and we knew there was a tornado coming, everybody would go inside. But it didn't happen. It didn't go off. So it was really… we didn't expect it. So there was no way for us to alarm people.”
“what we need to do for the climate is personally to be self aware of what's happening in the world, and not just the world, but also what's happening now with agendas, it starts with ourselves. We can blame other people, we can blame the governments, but it's our own responsibility to make the change.”
“I can do a lot by myself. But if I'm with a team or with more people, you can achieve so much more. It's really an urgency to start connecting with each other and really grow.”
