CEO of H.H SHEIKH AHMED BIN FAISAL AL QASSIMI GROUP OF COMPANIES
Serial entrepreneur and private investor Salwa Abdul Aziz Zein is currently the CEO of the Private Office of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Faisal Al Qassimi.
Salwa, a naturally resilient entrepreneur, successfully launched and managed several companies in Africa and GCC while in her twenties, leveraging on the understanding of countries in Africa, both at private level as well as for key infrastructure development of governments. She is overseeing projects ranging from port developments, livestock trading, gold brokerage to renewable energy projects. Her major strength is her versality in working with kings and presidents on one hand, and homeless youths on the other.
Salwa believes her success can be attributed to seizing the moments when opportunity knocks and not being deterred by setbacks one meets in the business world. She has learnt to be adaptable and flexible, and not taking anyone or situation for granted.
She is currently focusing on helping businesses, entrepreneurs and governments through finance structuring, identifying investors and using her network to open doors that are restrictive to many African entities.
Hi, my name is Salwa Abdulaziz Zein, and I'm an entrepreneur, CEO of the Private Office of his highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, I have successfully launched and managed several companies in Africa and the GCC and founded several non-profit organizations across the globe.
Thank you to all the parties involved in allowing me to speak on this platform. When one is discussing the issues that are most critical to humanity today that is subjected to that person's views and passions. I have always seen children as the most important. Today, there are an estimated number of 14 million who suffer from severe malnutrition. The numbers are staggering. Only twenty five percent of these children have actually received lifesaving treatment.
My mission has always been aiding the future generation of our world from upsetting situations like these to the best of my ability. None of us are strangers to the difficulties children all around the world face from poverty, malnutrition, lack of education, abuse, exploitation and so much more. We as a society should then educate ourselves in how we can come together in helping these children.
The most commonly asked question is what will the world look like decades to come if we don't end climate change? Before covid-19 one of the major issues governments were facing was the climate crisis.
The world is getting hotter each day. We are heading for a world that would be more than 3 degrees warmer in less than 80 years. With the great melting of the Arctic Sea ice, loss of forests and increased air pollution, these are merely a few.
Studies show that with this neglect continuing in five to 10 years, vast areas of the planet will be increasingly inhospitable to humans. With so many countries already being overpopulated, we simply cannot allow such circumstances.
The first step in acquiring change for the global issues at hand is spreading awareness. Lack of understanding of severity of conditions is what allows people to be so carefree and ignorant to the problems we face.
It is our duty, as humanity, to be well informed in global affairs and encourage others to do so as well. Coming together in times of hardship and speaking out in the safekeeping of our planet is how we can create social change.
We must speak up and speak out. What a Creative Society would look like in my eyes would be where people would know how to come together in times of hardship and understanding the meaning of true unity.
My idea of a Creative Society wouldn't be where everything is perfect, but when we as a community would be able to come together in those times of distress and help one another, I believe we should take part in the process of transforming a society to enable a better future for our children.
We must lead by example to form a better future for the next generation. I would like to thank the viewers and for all those doing their part in spreading awareness. I would also like to thank Allatra TV, who volunteer and work tirelessly to shed light on these issues every day. Let us be the change we want to see in the world we live in. Thank you.
