Abnormally warm winter in Europe: France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Liechtenstein

The year 2022 will be remembered by the inhabitants of Europe with many temperature records and exceptional heat waves.

As you can see, the last days of the outgoing year were no exception in terms of record temperatures.

☀️ The end of December 2022 turned out to be abnormally warm for many Europeans, and only the festive Christmas illuminations reminded us that it was winter outside.

👉 So, in France, more than 10 temperature records were set. In several cities, the thermometers rose above 20°C. In Verdun, department of Agnes, the temperature exceeded +26°C, although this figure is more in line with summer values.

👉 In the Swiss ski resort of Adelboden, the air warmed up to +15.6°C on December 25, while the average daily temperature is usually around 0°C.

👉 In the city of Hechingen, in Germany, the thermometer showed an abnormal +16.7 ° C, and in Liechtenstein — +15.8 °C.

👉 Unseasonably high temperatures were also recorded in Spain.

👉 And in much of Italy, including Rome, this past Christmas was the warmest in 50 years, with 10°C above the average.
