☀️ INDIA: June heat is very atypical, as, normally, monsoon rains already cool down the subcontinent this month. The Associated Press estimates that about 200 people have died due to the high temperatures in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

⚡ The situation is aggravated by regular power outages. People are left without water, fans, and air conditioners.

For many, this becomes an unbearable ordeal, considering that temperatures exceed 40⁰Сs.

🌊 INDIA: For the residents of the ASSAM STATE, the massive floods have become a challenge. Entire villages and large areas of farmland ended up under water.

According to the Assam Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), they have affected about half a million people.

Tens of thousands of people sought refuge in temporary relief camps.

⚠️ The monsoon season has just begun, but the situation is already extremely critical.
