From October 21 to October 22, 2021, strong winds and heavy rain hit the territory of Russia. In St. Petersburg, the wind was so strong that the bridges over the Bolshaya Neva and the Neva River were not raised.

Strong winds toppled dozens of trees in the Kaliningrad region. Houses, cars and power lines were damaged as a result.

On October 22, a strong hurricane hit Moscow.

On October 22-23, heavy rains hit northeastern Spain, causing severe flooding: the provinces of Valencia, Alicante, Almeria and Catalonia were affected. Stormy streams of water turned the streets of cities into waterfalls. Houses, basements and street infrastructures were flooded. Railway and road traffic was stopped in some places.

On October 22, 2021, heavy rains caused flash floods and landslides in four areas of the city of Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. Unfortunately, casualties and injured people have been reported.

On October 23, an extensive storm system caused heavy rains and flooding in Algeria, North Africa.

On October 24, heavy rains reached southern Italy and northern Tunisia causing widespread flooding. Sadly, deaths have been reported.

On October 24, the city of Comodoro-Rivadavia in Argentina was also hit by a strong hurricane. Wind gusts reached 215 km/h. Strong winds ripped off the roofs of buildings and toppled trees.

On the same day, the state of California, which had recently experienced the most intense wildfire season in its history, was hit by a powerful hurricane. Unfortunately, deaths have been reported.

Heavy rains caused severe flooding.

San Francisco, Sacramento, and Oakland experienced record rainfall, several times the monthly norm, causing flooding and blocked roads due to mudslides and landslides.

And on Oct. 26, after widespread flooding, snowfall hit California.

On October 26, due to the storm and heavy downpours, a state of emergency was declared in New York, USA.

On October 27, several tornadoes were recorded in Texas and Louisiana. Sadly, there were casualties.

In the states of California, Oregon and Washington, over 140,000 houses were left without power supply due to the disaster. Several highways were blocked.
