19 December 2021

Between December 11 and 16, alone, the planet experienced a significant number of natural disasters at record levels, and the power of destruction is increasing. This shows that Global Climate Change is gaining momentum.

In this episode reporters of Breaking News from around the world tell about:

Tuvalu, in Oceania, is the world's first state that is being completely relocated to another territory due to climate change. According to expert estimates, the island's territory will be flooded by the World ocean. In early November the head of the Tuvalu Ministry of Justice, Communications and Foreign Affairs - Simon Kofi recorded a video message for the UN climate summit, standing knee-deep in water.

About five thousand residents have already moved to New Zealand, which is half the population of Tuvalu.

On December 9, 2021, heavy snowfall hit Austria. The level of snow cover across the country reached a ten-year high. In some parts of Carinthia, the snow caused power outages.

A series of devastating cataclysms occurred in the northern part of the American continent on December 11:

A record snowfall - the heaviest in 32 years - took place in the capital of Russia, Moscow between December 13 and 14. Snowdrifts grew to 30 centimeters in some parts of the city, causing dozens of traffic accidents.

On December 14, the US Geological Survey reported 37 earthquakes. The strongest, with a magnitude of 7.3, was recorded 112 kilometers north of the city of Maumere, Indonesia, at a depth of 10-12 kilometers.

There followed fifteen aftershocks, the strongest of which was of magnitude 5.6. Several houses were destroyed. Residents fled their homes in panic and rushed to higher ground.

As it was said at the conference "Global Crisis. Time for the Truth" - the climate is our common enemy, which is attacking hard! Every second of our inaction is its advantage.

We, humans, have only one chance left - to unite on human qualities and direct our attention to building the Creative Society.
