🌊 BRAZIL is the country in South America that is most frequently affected by massive floods and landslides.

At least 36 people lost their lives as a result of a major storm with record rainfall that hit several coastal areas of the state of SAN PAULU. Sadly, that number could increase.

💦 On February 19, more than 600 mm of rain fell in places in a short period of time, twice the norm for the month. A state of emergency has been declared in the five municipalities affected by the disaster.

The situation remains extremely critical.
