🆘 MOROCCO: A very strong earthquake occurred in the Marrakech-Safi region of Morocco. There were nearly three thousand casualties in Morocco and thousands more were injured. The earthquake caused widespread destruction.

🌊 LIBYA: Another North African country fell victim to a climatic cerberus. Tropical Cyclone Danielle became Africa's deadliest storm on record. By September 15, the death toll exceeded 11,000. On that fateful night, many people were swept out to sea by the huge torrent of water. Nearly 100,000 are still missing.

🔹 New England and coastal Canada — Hurricane Lee left 130,000 without power due to heavy rains.

🔹 North Carolina, USA — Tropical Storm Ophelia brought rain, damaging winds, and tides on Sep 23.

🔹 New York, USA — Sudden flooding on Sep 29 caused chaos, with casualties and missing persons.

🔹 Jalisco, Mexico — At least 7 casualties and 9 missing after a river overflowed due to heavy rains.

🔹 Guatemala — Heavy downpours flooded the capital, causing casualties and missing persons.

🔹 Panama and Paraguay — Flooding affected some regions in early September.

🔹 Brazil — Deadly flooding in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina resulted in over 40 casualties.

🔹 Spain — Storm system Dana brought relentless rain, leading to casualties and missing people from Sep 2 to 4.

🔹 Greece — Storm cyclone "Danielle" turned villages into lakes, causing casualties and missing persons.

🔹 Hong Kong and South China — Typhoon Saola brought heavy rainfall.

🔹 India — Floods struck Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Haryana three times in a month.

💠 Sep 2: Kakheti, Georgia — Heavy hail destroyed crops.

💠 Sep 4: Novosibirsk, Russia — Hailstorm damaged many cars.

💠 Sep 17: Valencia, Spain — Severe hail storms caused over 43 million euros in losses.

💠 Sep 17: Uruguay — Hail recorded in several departments.

💠 Sep 18: Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil - Hailstorms struck.

💠 Sep 23: Bagé — Record hailstones, some exceeding 10 cm in diameter.

💠 Sep 24: Central Texas, USA — Thunderstorm brought large hail.

VOLCANOES

🆘 In September saw increased activity of another Italian volcano - Stromboli, as well as volcanoes Kilauea in Hawaii, Taal in the Philippines, Shishaldin in Alaska, Villarrica in Chile and the most active volcano in Russia - Ebeko.

🆘 Campi Flegrei is preparing for a mega eruption. The tremors in the area of the supervolcano are getting stronge. It's not just the country's residents who are in danger, but the whole of Europe, the whole world.
