Extreme climate change is challenging humanity as a whole. Already, in almost all countries of the world, the largest water arteries are disappearing, and record-breaking droughts lead to disruption of the habitual foundations of life and massive devastation of territories.
GERMANY - the Rhine River is now experiencing record shallowing.
POLAND - Poor rainfall and severe drought have caused the San River to shoal critically. In some places it is now possible to cross it dry, in others there are only small puddles on the bottom.
ITALY - The shoaling of the country's longest waterway, the Po River.
USA - Lake Mead on the Colorado River has shrunk to a record low level.
According to research by American scientists, water levels in the world's largest rivers have dropped significantly over the past 50 years. Thousands of rivers and reservoirs are disappearing around the world.
Unfortunately, in modern society, the conditions are such that the problem of forecasting and eliminating the consequences of dangerous climate hazards was and still is the most difficult. Change is only possible when the value of human life comes first.
