Drought 2022 → FAMINE is near! Does humanity have time?
📍 While Europeans are experiencing a severe drought, Africans are already experiencing its catastrophic consequences. On August 19, 2022, the United Nations World Food Program released a report of 22,000,000 PEOPLE on the brink of starvation in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia.

☀️ MOROCCO is facing a drought unprecedented in at least 30 years: people are experiencing severe food and water shortages.
According to the latest official figures, the level of water in the reservoir that supplies several cities, including the economic capital, with drinking water is only 5%. And if you take the whole country - the level of filling of the reservoirs is a little more than 28% compared to 46% last year.

☀️ SOMALI: More than 1 million people have been displaced by Somalia's historic drought.
The country's rainy season, which usually lasts from March to June, ended in May this year, with record low rainfall and no rain at all in June.
☀️ The United Nations World Food Program says more than 7 million people in Somalia, nearly half the population, face a severe food shortage and 213,000 are already hungry.
☀️ The same report says 22 million people in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia are now on the brink of starvation, mostly due to years of drought.
There is no place on the planet that has not been affected by climate change. The global think tank IEP predicts that more than 1 billion people could be displaced worldwide by 2050, including due to climate change.
🆘 Given the trend of escalating climate disasters and their consequences, does humanity have that time? And how many people will actually have to migrate in search of a place to live?
By familiarizing ourselves with the experience of refugees and displaced persons, we can understand what awaits a person in a refugee situation in modern society, dominated by a consumerist system of values.
