The whole world is rattling with cataclysms!
JULY 7 & 8.
💦INDONESIA. More than 780 households were affected by floods and landslides.
JULY 9.
💦NIGERIA. After heavy rain that did not subside for more than a day, there was flooding in the city of Lagos. Many areas were flooded. The disaster took the lives of several people. There are people missing.
JULY 9 and 10.
💦OMAN. A severe storm with torrential downpour hit the country. The flash floods killed several people, and rescue teams continue to search for the missing. On July 10, Jalan Bani Bu Ali Vilayat received almost one and a half times the annual precipitation.
JULY 12.
💦JAPAN, SAITAMA PREFECTURE. In Hatoyama township 209 mm of rainfall was recorded in just 3 hours, which was an all-time record. The city of Moroyama received 80 percent of the monthly precipitation in one hour. Residents of Kyoto Prefecture were urged to evacuate.
On the same day.
💦 USA, VIRGINIA. In Buchanan County, flash flooding has damaged more than a hundred houses and infrastructure. Dozens of people have been reported missing.
There is now enough public knowledge to indicate that weather hazards are intensifying: it is impossible to assess the full extent of the impact of both the increased frequency of fires and the devastating storms and flash floods.
Unfortunately, conditions in modern society are such that the problem of predicting and eliminating the consequences of dangerous climatic phenomena was and still is the most difficult. Change is possible only when the value of human life comes first.
