The whole world is rattling with cataclysms!
JULY 8.
💦JAMMU AND KASHMIR. About 40 people are missing after floods near the Amarnath cave temple. Streams of water, mud and rocks hit a tent camp of pilgrims. Several people died and dozens were injured. More than 15,000 people were evacuated.
JULY 9 and 10.
💦 INDIA. Torrential rains occurred in the state of Telangana. Many settlements were affected, including the state capital. Casualties have been reported.
At the same time, heavy rains flooded roads and residential areas in Gujarat state. About 2,000 people were rescued with the help of rafts and helicopters.
💦PAKISTAN. Monsoon rains caused widespread flooding and eight dams to breach. Dozens of residents in Balochistan province were washed away by floodwaters. More than 70 people died, 670 houses collapsed, and hundreds of families were left homeless on flooded streets.
There is now enough public knowledge to indicate that weather hazards are intensifying: it is impossible to assess the full extent of the impact of both the increased frequency of fires and the devastating storms and flash floods.
Unfortunately, conditions in modern society are such that the problem of predicting and eliminating the consequences of dangerous climatic phenomena was and still is the most difficult. Change is possible only when the value of human life comes first.
