Creative Society at the United Nations for World Interfaith Harmony Week

On January 31, 2025, the Creative Society joined a pivotal conference organized at the United Nations in Vienna as part of the World Interfaith Harmony Week. The event, titled "Harmony among Religions and Cultures – A Precondition for World Peace," was co-hosted by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), UNCAV, the Coalition of Faith-Based Organizations (CFBO), Youth and Students for Peace, and the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP).

The conference brought together over 200 participants from diverse religious, cultural, and governmental backgrounds to discuss the role of dialogue in fostering global peace. In a series of two engaging sessions, speakers from a range of religious and academic backgrounds addressed pressing issues of interfaith cooperation, peacebuilding, and mutual understanding.

The event was a significant opportunity for Creative Society participants to engage with global leaders and share perspectives on the importance of creating mutual understanding through interfaith dialogue. One key topic was the role of youth in peacebuilding, emphasizing their potential to bridge divides and foster cooperation across cultures.

Creative Society participants actively contributed to discussions, exploring how interfaith cooperation can address the growing challenges posed by climate change. As the world faces escalating environmental crises, the need for collective responsibility and cross-cultural collaboration has never been more urgent.

The Creative Society is an international initiative focused on raising awareness about the climate crisis and promoting dialogue on global issues. Through daily updates on climate-related events worldwide and facilitating discussions, we strive to empower individuals to take action toward sustainable solutions. By bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, the Creative Society aims to strengthen global cooperation in addressing the interconnected challenges of peace, sustainability, and human rights.
