Rochester, MI—May 31, 2025—The Creative Society was honored to be invited as a featured participant at the 2025 Rotary District 6380 Conference, hosted at Oakland University. This invitation came from Ms. Sharna Davis Hatcher, the 2024–2025 Governor of Rotary District 6380, who welcomed the Creative Society team to present their global initiative to a distinguished audience of Rotarians.
The invitation provided Creative Society participants with the opportunity to deliver a formal presentation and host a designated table where they engaged with conference attendees, sharing insights into the movement’s mission.
Rotary members shared their journey with the Rotary Foundation and highlighted significant achievements, including ongoing efforts to eradicate polio, improve patients’ access to dialysis clinics in India, and many other impactful stories. These initiatives exemplify Rotary's commitment to enhancing healthcare access and outcomes in underserved communities, showcasing how its members work to create lasting change in the world.
Ms. Olga Schmidt, President of the Creative Society, delivered a presentation outlining the organization’s mission: to draw the world's attention to the global climate crisis, study its causes, and find solutions. Ms. Schmidt emphasized the organization’s work in partnership with ALLATRA International Public Movement, introducing attendees to several cornerstone projects, including:
Accompanying Ms. Schmidt was Ms. Olga Kovtun, also a dedicated Creative Society participant. Together, they had the privilege of meeting and exchanging ideas with attendees and speakers, including: Mrs. Carmen Martinez de Villalta, the first woman president of a Rotary Club in Honduras and a recognized international Rotary Zone Coordinator; Mr. Chris Singleton, an award-winning author, inspirational speaker, and former professional baseball player; Ms. Renee Roberts of the Rotary Club of West Bloomfield; Mr. Bala Pillutla, secretary of the Novi Rotary Club; and many other committed Rotarians and community changemakers.

Beyond the international scope of the project, the Creative Society’s local impact in Michigan was also highlighted through their monthly initiative, “Business Networking For Good.” This event fosters meaningful collaboration among professionals who seek to build relationships grounded in shared values and social responsibility.
